Welcome to breastcare.lk. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and the video consultation booking services provided by Mttmarketing Pvt Ltd (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

By accessing this website and booking an appointment, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. Medical Disclaimer (Crucial)

1.1. No Emergency Services This service is NOT for medical emergencies. If you have severe pain, bleeding, or an urgent medical condition, please visit the nearest hospital or call emergency services immediately.

1.2. Educational Information Only The content on this website (articles, videos, text) is for educational purposes only and does not constitute professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of your physician regarding any medical condition.

1.3. Telemedicine Limitations By using our video consultation service, you acknowledge that:

  • Video consultations have limitations compared to physical examinations.

  • The doctor may determine that your condition requires a physical visit to a hospital for proper diagnosis.

  • We are not liable for any errors resulting from technical failures (internet loss, poor video quality) or incomplete information provided by you.

2. Booking & Appointments

2.1. Scheduling Appointments are subject to doctor availability. We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel appointments due to unavoidable professional emergencies. In such cases, you will be notified immediately.

2.2. User Responsibility You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information (Name, Phone, Medical History) during the booking process. We are not responsible for any issues arising from incorrect contact details.

2.3. Punctuality Please be ready 5 minutes before your scheduled slot. If you are more than 10 minutes late, your slot may be forfeited, and no refund will be provided.

3. Payments & Refunds

3.1. Payment Gateway We use PayHere (Pvt) Ltd to process payments securely. By making a payment, you agree to PayHere’s terms of service. We do not store your credit/debit card details on our servers.

3.2. Fees The total fee includes the Doctor’s Professional Fee and a Booking/Platform Fee. These fees are displayed clearly before payment.

3.3. Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • Cancellations by Patient: You may cancel your appointment up to 8 hours before the scheduled time for a full refund (minus a 5% processing fee deducted by the bank/gateway).

  • Late Cancellations: Cancellations made less than 8 hours before the appointment are non-refundable.

  • Cancellations by Doctor: If we cancel your appointment, you are entitled to a 100% refund or a free rescheduled slot.

4. Privacy & Data Protection

4.1. Data Collection We collect your personal information (Name, Contact, Medical Reports) solely for the purpose of providing medical consultation.

4.2. Confidentiality Your medical data is treated with strict confidentiality in accordance with Sri Lankan medical ethics and data protection laws. We will not sell or share your data with third-party advertisers.

4.3. Video Privacy Consultations are conducted via secure, encrypted video links. We do not record video sessions without your explicit written consent.

5. Code of Conduct

You agree to use this service respectfully. Abusive language, harassment, or inappropriate behavior towards medical staff during video calls will result in immediate termination of the call and a permanent ban from our services without a refund.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Sri Lankan law, Mttmarketing Pvt Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of this service or reliance on the information provided on the website.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Colombo.
